The King, the Queen, and the Thief

Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there was a king and a queen. They lived in a big, white palace, with a beautiful garden full of white roses. One day, when the king and queen went outside for a walk in the royal garden, they heard an earsplitting sound. CRASH! They rushed inside the palace and looked around. "My god," murmured the queen, as she picked up broken pieces of a window. "All of our jewels are gone!" cried the king, "Our precious marriage rings, portraits, all of our beautiful vases!" The queen told the guards to pull the trigger to a lock-down  BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! The queen cried softly on the shoulder of her husband.
“It’s okay,” said the king, “The thief will come to justice!”

About a mile or so, outside the palace, a thief called Galian galloped on a stolen horse out to the golden forest. “They’ll never catch me,” he thought, but his luck was short. As he was racing down a hill, he fell off his horse and rolled down to dangerous cliff. With the last of his strength, he pulled out one of the stolen gold hammers from his bag, and dug it in the earth to stop his fall. “Ouch!” he cried, and he looked around. "Help!" he shouted, but he was too far out in the forest.

While Galian was hanging for his life in the forest, the king and the queen sat down impatiently waiting for the guards to come with the stolen things, as they were very precious to them. "What do you think?: said the queen, "Will they bring back our treasure?" The king frowned, "I hope so,"....

As the guards were searching the golden forest, they heard the cry from Galian. The guards thought they were imagining sounds, but when they reached the place where Galian was, they were definitly sure that he was the thief.

The door banged open, and the guards dragged the thief in front of the king and queen. " What should we do to punish him?" asked the guards, but the king shook his head, "No, I want to hear why he stole our treasures," Galian stood, his face flushing with shame. "I just wanted to feed my family," he showed the king and the queen a photo of his family. "Oh!" said the king, "Then why didn't you ask us?" Galian turned red. "I don't know..." and he turned around. The king felt bad and said, "Well, you may take some of our jewels to feed your family, but you also need to pay for what you did, too." Galian turned back around and said, "Thank you so much!" And so the king gave Galian some jewels, but Galian had to help clean the mess. But at the end, Galian became a very good friend of the king and queen's, and they all lived happily ever after!

THE END!
